The University of Nottingham hosted its inaugural Optics and Photonics at Nottingham showcase on Friday, 18 July, drawing strong participation and enthusiasm from across the academic community.
The event featured presentations from postdoctoral researchers, alongside engaging competitions including a three-minute thesis challenge and a poster session for PhD students. An art competition, open to all faculties, added a creative dimension to the day’s programme.
Organisers described the showcase as a resounding success, highlighting the breadth of talent and collaboration on display.
